Travel directions

By car
The easiest way is taking the A44 (west of Leiden), not the A4, which passes Leiden at the other side.
Take the exit Leiden/Transferium (number 8) and drive in the direction of Leiden.
You will come to the N206 (Plesmanlaan) and can follow the signs for the Bio-Science Park.
Turn to the left at the second traffic light in the direction of the Bio-Science Park.
Follow the road making a bend till you run up to a roundabout.
At the roundabout turn to the right into the Max Planckweg.
At the end of this road, turn to the right into the Wassenaarseweg.
Turn right at the roundabout in the direction of the Sylvius Laboratory.

The train
Taking the train to Leiden Central Station takes ca. 10 minutes from The Hague, 35 minutes from Amsterdam, 30 minutes from Rotterdam and 45 minutes from Utrecht.

The bus (from Leiden Central Station)
Bus 57 in the direction of Lisse, exit at bus stop 'Blauwe Vogelweg'

By bike (5 minutes) or on foot (15 minutes) (from Leiden Central Station)
Leave the railway station at the back entrance (direction LUMC/Oegstgeest) in the direction of the main entrance of the LUMC.
In front of the LUMC, continue going to the right till the end of the parking garage (Albinusdreef).
Turn left at the roundabout going into the Sandifortdreef.
At the next roundabout you turn right into the Zernikdreef.
You will pass by a TNO-laboratory on your right-hand side.
At the end of this building you turn to the right.
After ca. 200 m you cross the bridge, the parking area and end up at the main entrance of the Sylvius Laboratory.
